One week. One week until I pack my bags for Maui. One week is how long I get to enjoy Maui. Fascinating how the perception of time and the reality of time are not equal! The first one week will be a very long week indeed. The second one week will fly by faster than it takes for my daughter, the Tasmanian She-Devil, to mess up my house - and trust me - that's FAST!
What's the reason, you ask, for our jaunt to the luscious and exotic isle of Maui? My parents' 50th anniversary! For so many years I complained about them getting married two days before Christmas. Finally, it's a good thing. Finally, it's a bonus. Finally, it's a great excuse to leave work at our busiest time of year for both Chris and I on our jobs. It would have been impossible to take the kids out of school for a week in the middle of fall or spring! So-Bravo, Mom and Dad, for your perfectly timed 50th wedding anniversary!

2) snorkeling at Molokini Crater
3) macadamia nut ice cream at Lappert's
Have a wonderful trip!
Oops - how do you post a long link on this darn thing? Guess you'll have to cut and paste.
